Our company, El GRECO was set up in 1979 in Chania, Crete by Mr. Evangelos and Ioanna Margiolakis. Its first business was hotel and car hire company. Having clients from all over Europe, with various needs, the company, with the help of very well experienced staff, managed to develop into a very successful tourism organization in Greece, with travel agencies, hotels and car hire department, as well as incentives and conferences.

In general our philosophy is not to do “a bit of everything” but to be efficient, reliable, responsible and flexible in every way by making use of our various departments` individual character, combined with the whole company's infrastructure and whole-buyers purchasing power.We are not afraid to invest in new markets and open new destinations, by providing special support to our partners. It's not by luck that our company has been the first one to organize, actively support and serve the 'virgin” charter operations from Scandinavia to Kythira island and Syvota.

So the success of our strategy requires us to build on these foundations by focusing on the business and leisure markets and driving efficiency and effectiveness.

El Greco holds offices in Platanias (province of Chania), Chania city, Athens city Kythira island and Syvota Thesprotias. All our offices are furnished in style (some in luxury corporate some in plain traditional line) and fully equipped with the required infrastructure. The head office is located in a modern business center near the center of Chania Riviera, Platanias and comprises 450 sq.m.

Our office in Chania is located on the pedestrian street of Theotokopoulou Str (Dominikos Theotokopoulos = El Greco) in the old city.

The branch office in Kythera is located in the virgin islands of Kythera and started operating in April 2012.

The branch office in Athens city is located at 34, Vlachakou and Salaminas Str. Very close to the port of Piraeus and to the biggest Naval companies in Greece.

The branch ofice in Syvota, Thesprotias will open 1st of May 2013 and it is an excellent location to combine Ionian islands, Parga and famous ski resort in South West part of Greece!

Investing in technology is one of our main concerns as to keep up with the continuous development of online bookings and other changes in the market. Our software is therefore updated all the time within the 'state-of-the-art technology' our company has at its disposal. Our reservation system, allows our software to “handshake” with any reservation software, either through extracting/importing reservation lists in Excel format or through XML.
